The Regulatory Initiatives Grid sets out the planned regulatory initiatives for the next 24 months.
This Grid from the Financial Services Regulatory Initiatives Forum sets out the regulatory pipeline. We publish the Grid so the financial services industry and other stakeholders can understand – and plan for – the timing of the initiatives that may have a significant operational impact on them.
The interactive dashboards below allow users to filter initiatives included in the April 2025 Regulatory Initiatives Grid.
The dashboards are designed to make information in our latest Grid publication more accessible and allow users to view and interact with the data in a more focused or agile way.
Filters in this dashboard will allow users to access in multiple ways to help users find initiatives most relevant to them, including by:
- Sector
- Authority
- Expected impact on firms
- Interest to consumers and consumer organisations
In addition to this dashboard, you can view the Regulatory Initiatives Grid for April 2025 in 2 other formats: PDF, and Excel.
How to use the dashboards
There are 2 dashboards:
Regulatory Initiatives Grid overview: This dashboard gives users a graphical view of the April 2025 Grid initiatives
Initiative details: This dashboard provides more information about each piece of work
The overview dashboard gives users a graphical view of the November 2023 Grid initiatives, while the detailed view provides more information about each piece of work.
You can apply filters by clicking on the relevant section on the dashboard, or by using the dropdown menus available at the top of the dashboard.
For an explanation of what each filter means and how each initiative is classified, please see How to understand the Regulatory Initiatives Grid[1] or the ‘Introduction: how to understand this document’ section of the PDF version of the Grid[2].
Users can apply multiple filters to each dashboard. Please note filters will not automatically apply across dashboards.
In the Regulatory Initiatives Grid overview dashboard, users can view additional details about initiatives by hovering over the squares in the Timeline section.
In the Initiative details dashboard, users can hover over the square to the right of the relevant initiative.
The Tableau bar at the bottom of each dashboard allows to reset the filters, share,
download and open in full screen.
